“ The Geniesserei is more of an Italian day and evening bar than a cafe. Although the coffee is Illy and prepared in a good La Cimbali espresso machine, it unfortunately only gets a grade of 3 due to the lack of crema; less quantity but better quality would have been better. A small glass of water is included. The price is 2.80. Pastries are not offered, but a few small Italian dishes. Pasta, prosciutto, toast, and pizza are probably convenience items. The selection of wines, beer (Guinness), sparkling wines, and cocktails is very good. The restaurant is located right next to the Werner Berg Museum on 10. Oktober Platz, with parking on the street. The waitress (Ms. Bianca) is very friendly and helpful. The first room is the main room with the bar. There is a smoking area with four high tables and five regular tables. The chairs and benches are made of light leather, very tastefully furnished. A large screen, thankfully without sound, at least in the mornings. In the back, there's a non-smoking room with about four tables for about 18 people. It's also beautifully decorated. Wi-Fi is available, as well as a few popular daily newspapers and a few magazines. A cozy place to meet friends. ”
